Bagatelle continues its international expansion, opening a new 200-seat restaurant in Miami, located in the city's iconic South Beach district, famed for its glamorous day scene, vibrant nightlife, and picture-postcard surroundings. 


Bagatelle is expanding internationally with a new 200-seat restaurant in Miami, positioned in the renowned South Beach area, known for its glamorous daytime atmosphere, lively nightlife, and stunning scenery.

Located within The Ritz-Carlton, one of Miami's 800 historic Art Deco landmarks, the restaurant's interior décor was crafted by French designer Sam Baron. The design draws inspiration from the original Art Deco architecture, the local environment, and the brand's core values.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by an entrance lush with greenery, establishing a memorable culinary atmosphere. The lobby and lounge feature intricate period paneling on the ceiling, with its grid design inspiring a bespoke rug designed by Baron. This aesthetic prevails throughout the space, connecting aspects of the past with the present.

A gentle color palette of muted greens and blues narrates the venue's design, which includes a conservatory, a bar, a main dining room, and a private dining area with 16 seats. This palette is enhanced by an exquisite array of materials such as natural woods, rattan, marble, and brass, thoughtfully curated to refine both design and guest experience. The choice of curved forms and a selection of fine textiles, including luxurious French velvets and elegant linens, nods to the heritage of French design.

In the main dining room, dramatic floor-to-ceiling curtains, striking brass chandeliers, and artistic light fixtures highlight the soaring ceilings. An array of alcoves, highlighted in soft blues and greens, are adorned with a vibrant collection of art by Pascal Lièvre, adding character and charm and offering cozy spaces for guests to relax.

As mentioned earlier, nature and greenery significantly influence the restaurant's décor, shaping the color scheme and material choices while echoing Miami's tropical climate, vibrancy, and rich heritage—qualities that attract many visitors to the city. This nature connection extends into the conservatory, showcasing one of the venue's most celebrated features: a large, illuminated olive tree that stretches over a circular bar, evoking the essence of Mediterranean outdoor dining.
