Alcova Returns to Miami for 2025 Edition During Miami Art Week
Following the success of its 2024 edition, Alcova—Milan’s leading independent design platform—has announced its return to Miami for a third consecutive year. The event will take place from December 2 to 7, 2025, coinciding with Miami Art Week, and once again will be staged within the atmospheric grounds of the Miami River Inn, the city’s oldest hotel, nestled in East Little Havana’s South River Drive Historic District.
Celebrated for its curation of cutting-edge design within unexpected spaces, Alcova Miami 2024 drew acclaim not only for the quality of its featured projects but for the immersive setting of its historic venue. Surrounded by tropical vegetation and framed by pastel-colored Victorian-era mansions dating back to 1908, the site provided a unique contrast to the intensity of the week’s cultural programming—an oasis of calm and creativity that allowed for meaningful design encounters.
For its 2025 edition, Alcova will continue to explore the Miami River Inn as a layered spatial narrative, connecting the architecture’s timber-framed buildings with site-specific installations and projects by visionary designers. True to Alcova’s ethos, the experience will unfold organically, inviting visitors to engage with the work through discovery, intuition, and curiosity.
This year’s edition is made possible through the support of Haworth, the new Main Partner. With a legacy of innovation in contract furnishings and a deep-rooted design culture dating back to 1948, Haworth brings a rich perspective to the platform, reinforcing Alcova’s commitment to both experimental and forward-thinking design.
The 2025 edition’s visual identity has been developed by Studio Vedèt, while Space Caviar returns to oversee the event’s spatial planning, continuing the collaborative vision that has made Alcova a standout event on the international design calendar.
